Gluten Free Diet or Avoiding Gluten

Please note: This therapeutic diet should only be followed under the supervision of a registered dietitian or healthcare provider.

Your diet, like your medication, is an important part of your treatment and may speed your recovery. Your doctor has ordered a Gluten Free Diet or the Avoiding Gluten Diet for you. Meals on this menu are prepared with food items that are gluten free and prepared with the least exposure to other gluten food items.

While on this diet you will be served:
Grains and plant foods that are free of gluten, such as corn, potatoes, quinoa, rice, legumes, oats, soy and nuts and seeds.

You will not be served:
Foods and food products that contain gluten, a protein found in wheat, barley, and rye. These ingredients are found in many food products, including bread, pasta, cereal, cakes and cookies.

Dieta sin Gluten o Evitando el Gluten

Nota: Esta dieta terapéutica debe seguirse únicamente bajo la supervisión de un nutricionista registrado o profesional de la salud.

Su dieta, al igual que sus medicamentos, es una parte importante de su tratamiento y puede acelerar su recuperación. Su médico ha recetado una dieta sin gluten o evitando el gluten para usted. Las comidas de este menú se preparan con alimentos sin gluten y se preparan con la menor exposición a otros alimentos con gluten.
