Ingredients

  • 5 oz greenwheat freekeh dry
  • 1/4 each cinnamon stick
  • 3/4 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup dried apricots julienne sliced
  • 1/4 cup sliced toasted almonds

Instructions

  • Place Freekeh, 1 quart water and cinnamon stick into a pot and bring to a boil. Lower heat and simmer covered until grains are tender, about 30 minutes. Season with vanilla extract and garnish with apricots and almonds. Serve hot.
