- 5 oz greenwheat freekeh dry
- 1/4 each cinnamon stick
- 3/4 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/4 cup dried apricots julienne sliced
- 1/4 cup sliced toasted almonds

- Place Freekeh, 1 quart water and cinnamon stick into a pot and bring to a boil. Lower heat and simmer covered until grains are tender, about 30 minutes. Season with vanilla extract and garnish with apricots and almonds. Serve hot.
