- 10 oz fresh button mushrooms sliced
- 8 oz 80/20 ground beef or protein of choice
- 2 tsp canola oil
- salt to taste
- 4 each whole wheat hamburger buns
- 4 each lettuce leaves
- 8 each tomato slices

- Heat oil in a skillet and sauté mushrooms until cooked through and liquid is absorbed. Transfer to a food processor and pulse to rough chop.Mix together ground beef and cooked mushrooms. Salt to taste. Form into 4 patties and cook on a grill or skillet until internal temp reaches 165F degrees.
- Assemble burgers.
