Beef and Mushroom Blended Burgers

Ingredients

  • 10 oz white mushrooms sliced
  • 8 oz 80/20 ground beef or protein of choice
  • 2 tsp canola oil
  • salt to taste
  • 4 each whole wheat hamburger bun
  • 4 each lettuce
  • 8 each tomatoes sliced

Instructions

  • Heat oil in a skillet and sauté mushrooms until cooked through and liquid is absorbed. Transfer to a food processor and pulse to rough chop.
    Mix together ground beef and cooked mushrooms. Salt to taste. Form into 4 patties and cook on a grill or skillet until internal temp reaches 165F degrees.
  • Assemble burgers.
