Cranberry, Turkey and Brie Panini

Ingredients

  • 12 oz turkey breast, roasted, sliced thin
  • 8 oz brie cheese
  • 1 1/3 Tbsp solid unsalted butter
  • 12 slices avocados
  • 8 slices sourdough bread
  • 1/4 cup whole cranberry sauce

Instructions

  • Preheat a large sauté pan over medium heat or a griddle. Spread the butter evenly over the two slices of Sourdough bread. Place the buttered side of the bread face down on the cooking surface.
    Next, slice the brie into thin slices. Place 2 oz brie on top of the two slices of bread. Let it start melting. Layer 3 oz turkey breast over one slice of bread, 3 slices of avocado and then 1 Tbsp cranberry sauce on top of turkey. Cover with second slice of bread and press lightly. The grilled cheese is done when the bread is golden and cheese is melted.

Chef Tips

May use leftover cranberry sauce in place of whole cranberry sauce recipe.
