Cranberry Jalapeno Jam

Get the best of both worlds with this sweet and spicy cranberry jam. Adjust the sugar and jalapenos to taste if you want to turn up the spice or make it a bit sweeter. Perfect for a sandwich topping or as a replacement for jams on toast and pastries.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb cranberries frozen
  • 1 cup orange juice
  • 1/2 cup dark brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup jalapeno peppers minced
  • 1/2 tsp kosher salt

Instructions

  • Place all ingredients in a pot and simmer, stirring, until berries burst and jam is thickened, about 20 minutes. Remove from pot and serve.
