- 1/2 cup fresh red beets diced, raw
- 1 cup fresh strawberries cut in half
- 1/2 cup fresh apples unpeeled and diced
- 1/2 cup water
- 1/2 cup ice
- 3 each fresh basil leaf

- Peel and dice raw beets. Place beets, strawberries, apples with peel, water and ice cubes into a blender and puree until smooth. Add the basil leaves and pulse a few times to blend.
