In a mixing bowl, combine spices with warm water and set aside.
Heat oil in a sauté pan over medium high heat. Add peppers and onions and sauté for approximately 6-8 minutes until tender. Add kale and sauté for an additional 2-3 minutes or until cooked through. Crumble tofu and add to sauté pan, cook until heated through. Stir in water/spice mixture and simmer.
