In a small saucepan, add ¼ cup of water and turn stove to medium heat. Once hot, turn off the heat and add the salt and sugar, stirring until dissolved.
In a pitcher, add the lemon juice, strawberry nectar or pureed strawberries, remaining water, and the salt and sugar mixture. Mix well and place in a refrigerator to chill until cold. Store in the refrigerator for up to 1 week and drink after vigorous exercise.
