1eachwhole clove
1/2tspblack peppercorn
1/2eachcinnamon stick
1eachcardamom pod
1/2tspfresh gingerchopped
2 2/3cupwhole milkor milk of choice
2echDarjeeling tea bags
1/3cupsugar

Instructions
Combine water, star anise, clove, peppercorns, cardamom, cinnamon and ginger in a large pot and bring to a simmer. Steep for 20 minutes. Add whole milk (or milk alternative) and bring to a boil. Remove from heat. Add tea bags and sugar, steep for 20 more minutes. Using fine mesh strainer, strain out spices and enjoy.
