Instructions
Cook the rice and quinoa in separate pots according to the manufacturers specifications. Drain and cool. Set aside.
Heat the oil in a pan over medium-high heat. Sauté the carrots, celery onion and garlic for 2-3 minutes until translucent. Add the cumin, salt and pepper. Remove from the heat and allow to cool.
Combine the cooked/cooled grains, sauteed vegetables and ground turkey together. Mix thoroughly and form 4 oz. patties. Grill or sear on a flat top until the internal temperature reaches 165F.
