Orange, garlic, and chili spiced marinated grilled chicken and pineapple skewers

Ingredients
2eachfresh orange
2tsp fresh garlicchopped
1/4cupshallotschopped
2tspchili powder
1/4cupcanola oil
1lbboneless skinless chicken breastraw
1cupfresh pineapplecubed
1/4tspsalt
1/4tspground black pepper
Instructions
Squeeze orange and reserve juice. Chop orange peel/pulp into 1" pieces. Combine orange juice, orange pieces, garlic, shallots, chili powder, and oil to make marinade. Cut chicken into 1" pieces and toss with marinade. Cover and refrigerate for at least one hour (do not marinate longer than four hours). Preheat grill to 400F degrees.
Alternate chicken & pineapple pieces on each skewer. Season with salt and pepper then grill to an internal temperature of 165F degrees.
